Rustavi: Student Dance Performances

I love the Georgian dances.

My hostess' granddaughters participated in a huge recital a few weeks ago.

Here's one example of a student performance, the dance Acharuli, I believe, which is a hands-down favorite of Georgian students.

The day-long recital took place in the newly-refurbished theater in Rustavi. Filled to capacity. Enthusiastic audience. I was glad to be a part of it.

Rustavi, Georgia. Theater on Pirsomani Street.

There was a bit of drama between a couple of attendees regarding the lack of tickets and thus, rights to seats, but heck, does a day without Georgian drama even count as a day?
